Fr. Rossetti explains the destructive nature of pornography that is available on the internet and presents the latest sociological data on the subject and the negative impact cybersex has on the individual and the community as a whole. He points out how it ruins lives and saps people of a sense of their own dignity. This is particularly true when priests, religious or seminarians are ensnared by this appeal to what is lowest in human nature.
Lay people working for the Church, priests and religious are all vulnerable. Fr. Rossetti points out the technical ways that these sites can be blocked or monitored on Church owned computers. The most important element, however, is educating people to the destructive nature of pornography. He offers ways to overcome the addiction and places on the internet itself where people can find the help that they need in facing this troubling problem. This tape gives Church leaders a way to honestly face these problems and an outline for a way of overcoming them.
