HAVE YOU HEARD THE GOOD NEWS? CYCLE C

In concluding his 3-volume series of reflections on the Sunday Gospels, Father Dowling throws light in a special way on the nuances to be found in the Gospel of Luke, which plays such a predominant role in Cycle C of the liturgical readings. About the Author: Edward T. Dowling, SJ, received his Master of Divinity degree from Woodstock College, was ordained in 1969 and has spent the past thirty years preaching each week in various parishes in the New York and Rockville Centre dioceses. Currently professor of Economics at Fordham University where he has served three terms as Chairman of the Economics Department and one term as the Dean of Fordham College, he received his Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University. Prior to these reflections on the Sunday Gospels — Have You Heard the Good News? Cycles A, B, and C — his writings have been in the area of Mathematical Economics and Statistics.
