PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH

The Roman Catholic liturgy contains thousands of prayer texts which cover every phase of life. They are saturated with the word of God and with the Church’s centuries-long experience with human nature and human prayer. It would be difficult to surpass them in orthodoxy of doctrine, beauty of language, variety of theme, relevancy of content and understanding of human nature.
