SAINT JOHN OF THE CROSS

A group of Australians has gathered together to reflect on the relevance of St. John of the Cross for today. In a word, they not only found that this 16th century Spanish Carmelite mystic is very relevant, but that he presents for us a spirituality of substance. This, of course, implies that there are other current spiritualities around which lack depth and substance. The contributors to this book show how the wisdom of St. John of the Cross provides guidance to the many people in our society who are thirsting for nourishment on their spiritual journey through life.
