HUMAN SEXUALITY
An All-Embracing Gift

This work is an extraordinarily comprehensive and up-to-date treatment of human sexuality as an all-embracing, all-pervasive gift of God to each and every human being. Viewed from the physical (biological and psychological) and spiritual (moral and aesthetical) points of view, this scholarly text treats sexuality as it is dealt with in modern science, the Word of God and the teachings of the Church, covering in detail such matters as: sexuality and the need for integration; the question of birth regulation; sexuality, physiology and birth control methods; homosexuality; nonmarital sexuality; masturbation; respect for human life and HIV/AIDS and the Church. Throughout, the author never loses sight of the Gospel value of enduring, self-giving, other-serving love which God’s gift of sexuality promotes and brings to fruition. In granting his Imprimatur for this work, Archbishop John R. Quinn of San Francisco expresses his hope that the book “will be of great benefit to many many people.”
