About the Author: Horacio D. Bojorge is a Jesuit priest who was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1934. He studied in Argentina and the Netherlands. After his ordination in 1965, in Mastricht, Holland, he did graduate studies in Holy Scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute (Rome) and in Jerusalem. Since 1969 he has been teaching Scripture and Biblical Hebrew at the Montevideo Seminary and Institutes for religious and laypersons. He is the author of many articles and several books, among these a major work on the Psalms.
