ANOINTING OF THE SICK AND THE ELDERLY
A Pastoral Guide for Home and Church

Ministers and recipients alike will find in this manual all the material they need to make the administration and reception of the Sacrament of Anointing a joyful, reverent and Spirit-filled experience for everyone concerned. Besides the Rite itself, chapters cover a brief history of the Sacrament, concrete suggestions for a team approach to the organization of a parish celebration, a helpful selection of prayers, hymns and reflections, and, finally, photographs of actual ceremonies plus testimonials from grateful recipients.
