About the Author: Fr. Andrew is a member of the Community of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. Ordained in 1967, he has been active in teaching, preaching retreats and parish missions, and giving spiritual direction. He was formerly Associate Director for Spiritual Development in the Archdiocese of New York. He has been a teacher in the New York Archdiocesan Spiritual Development Program and is an adjunct faculty member of St. Josephs Seminary, Dunwoodie, Yonkers, New York. He has also taught in the Archdiocesan Institute for Religious Studies. In his Community, he has been involved with the formation of its young candidates, especially as novice director. He is also the author of The Advocate: The Spirit of Truth and The Comforter: The Spirit of Joy, both published by ST PAULS/Alba House.
