About the Author: Conchita was born in 1862 in the city of San Luis Potosí in Mexico. At the age of 22, she married Francisco Armida. During the 17 years of their marriage, they had nine children. In 1906, Conchita received a grace of spiritual fruitfulness which was manifested in the works outlined above. She died in 1937, and the cause for her canonization was begun in 1959.
